0/0 steps made- 1. Soak the rice for at least 20 mins.Wash it properly.
- Put rice in a vessel , add double amount of water and little salt,1cinnamon and 2 cardamom and 2 cloves.
- Cook the rice for 15 min without covering the pan.
- Use a fork to mix the rice and care should be taken not to break the rice.
- Once its cooked (Rice should not be over cooked) drain the water completely.
- Heat a pan with oil and temper with 1cinnamon ,2 elachi,2 cardamom and 2 cloves.
- Add the diced onion and salt and fry for 5-10 minutes till the onion becomes translucent.
- Now the ginger garic paste and fry for 5 min till the raw smell goes.
- Mix chopped tomato. Cook it till it becomes soft. Add turmeric & chilli powder. Cook for 1-2 mins, till the raw smell goes.
- Add chopped mint & coriander leaves. Mix well. Add cooked rice. Give a good mix.(mix carefully, do not break the rice) Cover & cook for 10min minutes on a very low flame.
- Remove from fire. Serve hot
