  1. Upma Kozhukattai is traditional Tamil brahmin breakfast dish. The Process is simple. So let’s start
  2. Soak Raw rice overnight or at least 4 hours
  3. Grand it with enough water ,Grated Coconut and Salt, make a thick batter
  4. In a pan, heat a teaspoon Oil, add Mustard seeds. when it start to spurts , add Urad dal and Chana Dal
  5. Now add Curry leaves and Dry Red Chillies and a pinch Asafoetida
  6. Add the Batter and stir continuously
  7. Within minutes, the batter become thick and form a dough like consistency
  8. Flame off and let it to cool down
  9. Next we will make small balls with the dough
  10. Steam those balls just like regular kozhukattai. Enjoy with Coconut Chutney or any Pickle of your choice
