Kara Kuzhi Paniyaram (கார குழி பணியாரம்) - Origin from Karaikudi (Chettinad) Tamilnadu , but much popular in South India . It's really easy to make and taste awesome . These spicy crispy balls with soft heart will melt your heart too .. Try it
Ingredients
2cup Idli batter
4 Green chillies
2pinch Turmeric powder
1/2teaspoon Urad dal
1/2teaspoon Mustard seeds
5 . Shallot chopped
1spring Curry leaves
Salt and Oil as required
a small piece Ginger chopped
Instructions

Heat oil in a pan. Crackle mustard seeds along with curry leaves and urad dal.

Add this to the batter and mix well.

Add finely chopped ginger, shallots, green chillies, and a pinch of turmeric powder. Mix everything thoroughly.

Heat a paniyarakkal (paniyaram pan) and pour about 1 teaspoon oil into each mould.

Pour the prepared batter into each mould.

When the bottom side is cooked and turns golden, gently flip each paniyaram.

Add a little more oil if needed and cook the other side until golden and crisp.

Serve hot with tomato chutney or coconut chutney.
