In a blender, add all the ingredients and grind coarsely without adding even a drop of water.

Once the mixture is well combined and coarsely ground, remove it from the blender and it's ready to use.

Note: If you’re making this chutney to serve with dosa or idli, there’s no need to add tamarind.

Best served with: Dosa, Idli, Rice, Rice Porridge (Kanji or Paal Kanji)
