First of all, we have to dry roast Moong dal and Sesame seeds separately. and keep them aside

Next we will melt Jaggery with 1/4 cup water. Strain it for impurities and heat it again

When it start to boil, Add grated Coconut, Ghee, Cardamom powder and mix well.

when its mixed well, lower the flame, add Aval/ Poha ( you can even off the flame)

Mix well till the Aval/ Poha is covered well in Jaggery mix

Add roasted Moong dal and Sesame seeds and mix well

Aval Vilayichathu is ready
