Mutta Surka is a beloved snack and breakfast delicacy from the Malabar region of North Kerala. Soft on the inside and crisp on the outside, it's often enjoyed with spicy curries.
Ingredients
1cup Raw Rice
1 Egg
1 1/2tablespoon Onion chopped
1 1/2teaspoon Green chillies chopped
Salt and Oil as required
Instructions

Soak raw rice for at least 3 hours. Drain the water completely.

Grind the rice with just enough water to form a thick batter.

Add one egg and grind again to make a smooth batter with idli batter consistency.

Add finely chopped onions, green chillies, and salt. Mix well.

Heat oil in a deep pan for frying.

Pour ladlefuls of batter into the hot oil and fry both sides until golden brown and puffed.

Remove from oil and drain on a paper towel.

Mutta Surka is ready! Serve hot with chicken curry, beef curry, or any spicy masala curry of your choice.
